Pakistan Minorities Crisis: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has condemned the attack on Christians in Pakistan. Condemning the incident, Jamaat’s national secretary said that Jamaat-e-Islami Hind condemns the attack on Christians and burning of churches on charges of blasphemy in Jaranwala, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
It was said by him that the vandalism of churches, the burning of Bibles and houses of Christians in the vicinity is highly condemnable and shameful. Strongly criticizing this incident, he said that sanctifying a religious place of worship shows intolerance and gross disrespect towards human beings and their beliefs. Jamaat’s National Secretary K Suhail said that we see this attack as a collective attack on all religions and humanity.
They say that Islam neither allows such incidents nor those who do such things have anything to do with Islam. Islam calls for protection of human life and property.
Let us tell you that churches were attacked in Pakistan on the charge of this blasphemy and while targeting Christians, their houses were ransacked. Minority Hindus, Sikhs and Christians are continuously being targeted in Pakistan. Pakistan has used a new excuse of blasphemy to target minorities, under which it misbehaves with anyone by accusing them.
