Praveen Kumar, a resident of Chaupera village of Aunchha police station area, took his ten-year-old son to the Bengali doctor, Deepu Vishwas, located on Jyoti Road in the city, on July 2, when he had fever. Jholachhap admitted him here and started his treatment. After two days the condition worsened, Jholachhap said that the child’s condition is bad, show him somewhere else, on which the family took him to Saifai Medical College. Where the child died on July 21 during treatment.

After the death of the child, the father lodged a complaint against Jholachap Deepu Biswas on the Chief Minister’s portal, on which the health department team reached Jholachap’s place on July 31 and gave notice and directed to get his records checked within three days, But the CMO office did not turn up even after lapse of 20 days instead of three.

CMO Dr. RC Gupta directed to register an FIR against him. On Tuesday, Nodal Officer Dr. Rakesh Kumar has given Tahrir for registering an FIR in Kotwali against quacks under the Medical Council Act.

In this regard, the CMO said that action against fraud is going on continuously. Under no circumstances, clinics and pathology will not be allowed to operate without registration.
