Organizing the last phase of sports festival in Keshavraipatan area

Amidst the final moments of Chandrayaan-3’s landing, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated the final phase of the Kota-Bundi Sports Festival of Keshavarayapatan Vidhansabha constituency on Wednesday evening. During this, he said that whether it is space or sports, India will move forward on the strength of youth in every field.
Speaker Birla said at a function organized at the Government Higher Secondary School located in Keshavarayapatan that the scientists of India have displayed their potential in the world. At the same time, the youth coming from far away rural areas are also making the country proud with their abilities.
He said that the Kota-Bundi Sports Festival is also one such platform which will play an important role in spotting and grooming talents. It is our dream that the talents of Kota-Bundi come forward and achieve golden success for the country. We will provide all opportunities to encourage sports and players.
Keshavraipatan MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal said that he thanked Speaker Birla for organizing the Kota-Bundi Sports Festival. He said that on one side the scientists are in the field of the moon, while on the other hand the youth is in the field of sports. Organizing sports will give rural players an opportunity to move forward and make an identity at the international level. A large number of enlightened people including Pradhan Virendra Singh Hada, Gopal Nagar, Lokesh Bagda, Mukesh Jindal, Ram Singh Chaudhary, Mahendra Sharma, Municipality Deputy Chairman Rajvinta Gochar, Mahavir Meena, Buddhiprakash Meena, Hanuman Pareta, Manoj Malik were present on this occasion.
25 lakhs for the playground
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla announced Rs 25 lakh from the Parliamentarian Fund for the development of the playground at the Government Higher Secondary School in Keshavraipatan. Birla said that we are dedicated to the strengthening of sports facilities in every field. A comprehensive action plan will be prepared for the development of this playground.
Inauguration and foundation stone of development works
During the programme, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 22 works worth more than Rs 3 crore under various heads in Keshavraipatan area. These works include different types of development works including sports ground, four walls of the school, development of Muktidhams, construction of tubewells and tanks, community building, construction of four walls, construction of team shed. All these works are being done according to the demands and expectations of the people.
Players showed stamina
After the commencement of the final phase, the players in the women’s and men’s categories of cricket, kabaddi and tug of war showed their stamina. Everyone put in full force to ensure victory. Here, the villagers also left no stone unturned to encourage the players.
