Vice President Dhankhar will honor retired officers and employees

Vice President of the country Jagdeep Dhankhar will be the chief guest of the Retired Gaurav Samman ceremony. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Union Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Minister Pralhad Joshi will also be present in the programme.

Former Mayor Mahesh Vijay, associated with the event, said that after independence, the retired employees of the Center and the State have played an important role in the reconstruction of the nation. Retired Gaurav Samman Samaroh will be organized on September 5 at 10 am at Dussehra Ground to honor his contribution to the development of the country.

The approval of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has been received for the programme. All the retired officers and employees coming in the program will be honored and there will be a discussion on ensuring the contribution of retired officers and employees in making India a developed nation in this Amritkal.

In relation to the programme, the pensioners’ representatives met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at the Lok Sabha Camp Office on Wednesday. He informed Birla about the preparations for the programme. Also told that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the retired officers and employees regarding the programme. They also want to contribute with new energy and confidence in building a developed India after knowing the views of Vice President Dhankhar, Speaker Birla and Minister Joshi.

Lok Sabha Speaker Birla said that even though he has retired, he still has the energy with which he can move the society and the country on the path of development. It is very important that the new generation gets the benefit of their knowledge and experience. Such events will act as a bridge for retired people to meet each other and interact with the new generation.

On this occasion, Ramesh Chand Gupta, President of Pensioners Samaj Kota, Vimal Chand Jain of Kota Employees Cooperative Society Limited, Dinesh Jain, former State President of Rajasthan Accountant Association, RK Jain, President of Pensioners Association State Bank of India, Shyamlal Secretary of The Institute of Engineers were present. Gupta, former State President of Council of Diploma Engineers Balwant Singh Hada and Organization Secretary of BSNL Rajasthan Circle Chhitarlal Goswami were present.

Organization of preparatory meetings at various levels
Pensioners society is conducting preparatory meetings at various levels for the Retired Gaurav Samman ceremony. A target has been set to bring maximum retired officers-employees associated with the central and state government of both Kota and Bundi districts in the programme. Along with this, a memorandum is also being prepared to give information about the problems related to the pensioners society.

Cultural evening will be organized in the evening
A cultural evening will also be organized in the evening after the main event at 10 am on September 5 at the Dussehra ground. Renowned artists are being called in this.
