Dhamtari, August 25 (HS). Sarpanch and other villagers have accused Jhiriya Sahu Samaj and Rudri Parikshetra Sahu Samaj of encroachment on the reserved land of the village in Gram Panchayat Soram. Action is not being taken even after repeated complaints, if action is not taken by the administration in this regard, the election will be boycotted.
Sarpanch and other officials took a press conference on August 25 and told that the Mauli Mata temple is under Gram Panchayat Soram. Who is the Kuldevi of the village. For the development of the temple complex, the Chief Minister has announced to give Rs 22 lakh in the meeting program. That land has been encroached upon by Jhiriya Sahu Samaj and Rudri Parikshetra Sahu Samaj of the village without permission and panchayat proposal. The encroachment has not been removed even after convincing at the panchayat level. A complaint has been made to the Collector, SDM.
Sarpanch Nandani Sahu told that Nandi Chabutra was built in the village earlier by encroachment by the Yadav community. Which was removed by the settlement. Since then, it has become a rule that if any building is to be constructed by any society, the permission of the Panchayat is necessary. The matter has been complained to the Collector several times, if the administration does not take action in this regard, the election will be boycotted.
Deputy Sarpanch Krishna Kumar, Panch Urmila Dhruv, Bhagwani, Suresh Dhruv, Sevak Ram Nirmalkar, Umesh Sahu, Ramadhin Dhruv, Satish, Human Yadav, Ankit Kumar etc were present in the press conference. In this regard, Jagannath Sahu, president of Soram Jhiria Sahu Samaj, told that in the year 2013 the proposal was brought by the panchayat. On the basis of this, the Karma temple is being constructed. Earlier, the building of Rudri Parishad Sahu Samaj has been built here. Sarpanch’s private land is adjacent to this land. Because of this, for her selfishness, she repeatedly accuses the Jhiria Sahu community.
