The Chief Minister has announced a grant for the construction of two hostels in Punjab University. 23 crore for Bhagwant Mane Girls Hostel and Rs. Rs 25.91 crore has been allocated.

Announcing this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Ma said that Punjab University is our heritage and we are committed to protect it. We will make a wonderful hostel in the university. It has been told that various student organizations are opposing the entry of MLAs in Punjab University.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Maa tweeted and informed about the release of grant for the construction of two hostels in Punjab University. Student union elections in Panjab University are going to be held in the first week of September. Various student organizations are campaigning fiercely for the elections in 11 degree colleges.

The Chief Minister’s tweet can create trouble for all student organizations. While giving information during the campaign in South Campus, President of Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti CYSS Student Association, Sanjeev Chaudhary said that the announcement made a year ago has been fulfilled by the Punjab government.
