Bihar government has reduced the number of festival holidays in government schools from 23 to 11 between September and December. Regarding this, BJP Legislature Party leader Vijay Sinha, BJP State President Samrat Chaudhary and Rajya Sabha member Sushil Modi have raised many questions. He has alleged that by abolishing holidays the state government is doing appeasement politics.

BJP Legislature Party leader Vijay Sinha held a press conference at the party state headquarters and attacked the state government for harassing more than three lakh teachers.

Sinha has sought answers from the state government on the fact that not a single holiday of Muslims has been cancelled.

Samrat Chaudhary said – Earlier holidays used to last from Diwali to Chhath.

BJP State President Samrat Chowdhary said that there were continuous holidays in schools from Diwali to Chhath Puja. Now the nine-day holiday in between has been reduced to just four days. There will be one day holiday on Deepawali, one day holiday for Chitragupta Puja and two days holiday during Chhath.

Sushil Modi also got angry at the state government

Rajya Sabha member Sushil Modi has raised questions on the orders of the Education Department. He has said that there will be a holiday for Chehallum on 6th September. However, the holiday for Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 7th has been cancelled. At the same time, 28th September is the birthday of Hazrat Mohammad Saheb, this day will be a holiday.
