Sanghamitra Murya: BJP MP from Badaun Sanghamitra Maurya, who is often in the headlines for her outspoken statements, is embroiled in controversies. On the basis of witnesses and evidence, the MP-MLA court of Lucknow has summoned Sanghamitra to the court on 6 January 2024 on charges of fraud and second marriage without divorce. The court has issued this summons on the complaint of a young man named Deepak Kumar Swarnkar, who claims to be the husband of Sanghamitra Maurya.

Deepak Kumar Swarnakar, a youth living in Sushant Golf City, Lucknow, has filed a complaint in the court against five people including Sanghamitra Maurya, his father Swami Prasad Maurya, mother Shiv Maurya, brother Utkrisht Maurya. Sanghamitra Maurya is accused of marrying her first husband without divorcing him. At the same time, Sanghamitra’s father, brother and mother have been accused of hatching a criminal conspiracy to carry out the deadly attacks.

Deepak Swanarkar claims that Sanghamitra Maurya has declared himself unmarried in his affidavit during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, whereas at that time Sanghamitra Maurya had been married twice. After Deepak Swarnakar’s claim, when we looked at Sanghamitra Maurya’s 2019 election affidavit, this came to light. Deepak’s second big allegation is that ‘Sanghamitra Maurya has married him by cheating on him.’ Along with this, Deepak Swarnkar has also shared some pictures of the wedding.

Who is Deepak Swarnkar?

Deepak Swarnakar, who calls himself the husband of Sanghamitra Maurya, lives in Sushant Golf City, Lucknow and calls himself a journalist. When we searched their Facebook profile, we came to know that Deepak Swarnakar and Sanghamitra Maurya have together written a book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘Meaning of Modiism’, which was released by big political personalities of Uttar Pradesh. Also, Deepak and Sanghamitra have written another book on Mahatma Buddha, whose title is ‘Buddhism Ki Baatein’.

Claimed to be in a live-in relationship

Deepak Swarnakar claims that he was in a live-in relationship with Sanghamitra Maurya since 2016. Sanghamitra told him that he was divorced from his first marriage, after which on January 3, 2019, Deepak and Sanghamitra got married as per Buddhist customs. Deepak has also released wedding photos. He alleges that in 2021, when I asked him to get married legally, Swami Prasad Maurya carried out several fatal attacks on him, due to which he almost died.

With whom did Sanghamitra Maurya have her first marriage?

Sanghamitra Maurya’s first marriage was with Lucknow’s famous doctor Naval Kishore Shakya in 2010. Both of them studied MBBS together. It was a love marriage and Sanghamitra also has a son from her first marriage. In 2012, Sanghamitra separated from her husband and in December 2017, she filed a divorce petition in Lucknow court. Swami Prasad Maurya’s family says that she has also got divorce from her first husband in 2021. Deepak Swarnakar alleges that Sanghamitra was living with him since 2016 and married him for the second time without getting a divorce. Now the entire matter has reached the MP-MLA court and the next hearing of the case will be on January 6, 2024.
