RPF seized 4 gas cylinders and stove from Shalimar Express, manager arrested

CG News: Prateek Chauhan. Raipur/Bilaspur. The RPF team has seized 4 gas cylinders and a stove from Shalimar Express and arrested the accused manager. According to the information, Inspector Karmapal Singh Gurjar, in-charge of Crime Intelligence Branch/Detective Wing Bilaspur, Sub Inspector SK Minj, Constable Alok Kumar SIB/Sub Inspector Mayank Mishra of Bilaspur along with SHO Akhilesh Yadav of RPF Post Bilaspur were arrested at platform no. of Railway Station Bilaspur. On 02-03, during checking against people carrying inflammable and explosive substances through railway route, train number 22905 Okha- Shalimar Express was checked.

During this time, Dinesh Prasad Yadav, Pantry Manager of Pantry Coach (Kitchen Store Vehicle) No. WR 108071 between Bilaspur-Jayaramnagar, late Shambhu Prasad Yadav, age-35 years, Sakin- Village Hussepur Post-Hussepur Police Station Amanour Saran (Bihar) above. The person is required to carry a total of 04 gas cylinders in the said train, including 03 commercial gas cylinders, one domestic cylinder and 4 gas stoves with gas pipes.

After finding that the accused Pantry Manager had committed the crime of keeping inflammable material in the train and intentionally causing danger to the life and property of railway passengers, he was arrested under Section 153, 164 of the Railway Act.

Earlier on 30.10.2023, the said accused person was arrested under Section 164 Railway Act by Agusha RPF Bilaspur after catching him with one commercial gas cylinder and one gas stove in the said vehicle.
