Etawah. Despite the onset of winter, there is a steady increase in the number of dengue infected and symptomatic patients in the district. On Monday, 15 out of 51 patients in whom symptoms of dengue were found were tested for dengue using a kit in the pathology lab of the district hospital. Dengue was confirmed in all the patients in the ELISA test.
From August 3 to November 21, 539 dengue infected people have been found in the district. On Tuesday, 31 patients got tested for dengue with the kit in the pathology lab, out of which symptoms of dengue were found in eight patients. Overall, 798 patients with dengue symptoms have been found in 111 days. The process of finding symptomatic patients in the NS-1 dengue test in the pathology lab continues.
The eight patients in whom symptoms of dengue were found during blood test in the pathology lab on Tuesday include Sunil of village Balaiyapur, Dev Babu of Kishgaon Baralokpur, Ajit of Nagla Baba, Nandini of Ramtal, Manju Devi of Kachaura Road Raja Ka Bagh, Nagla. Harchand’s Priya and descendants of Shanti Colony etc. are included. 11 patients with dengue symptoms are admitted in the infectious ward. While six women suffering from fever are admitted in the women’s ward.
