Drinking milk is important not only for children but also for adults as well. The nutrients present in milk are beneficial for the development and strength of bones of children. Bones become weak with age. There is a risk of them breaking due to minor injury or fall, hence drinking a glass of milk daily can reduce these risks to a great extent.
To get maximum benefits of milk, it is important to drink it at the right time and in the right way. Many people do not like its taste, due to which they mix sugar and other things in it and drink it. It increases the taste of milk, but reduces its benefits. Fat, calcium, vitamins and minerals are present in good quantity in milk, so if you want the body to get full benefit from them then know how and when you should drink milk.

Best time is morning with breakfast
Drink a glass of milk. But in Ayurveda, the way of drinking it also changes slightly according to the changing seasons.
In summer : Boil the milk thoroughly and cool it slightly. Then add cold water equal to one-fourth of milk in it. Drink sugar candy instead of sugar.
In winter : Soak 3 to 4 almonds and almonds overnight. In the morning, peel almonds and eat them with a spoon and drink milk.
In monsoon: Mix a pinch of turmeric powder in a glass of milk and drink it.
It is best to drink milk at least 2 to 3 hours after eating food and half an hour before sleeping. Add a little turmeric to milk and drink it at night, it strengthens immunity.

Mothers add sugar to milk to make it easier for their babies to feed, but this is not the right method at all. Milk has natural sweetness, so make it a habit to feed sugar-free milk to children since childhood. You can also add jaggery to it to enhance the taste.
Do not eat salty foods
Never drink milk with salty foods. Drinking it with paratha or puri can cause indigestion.
