Rajya Sabha MP Javed Ali Khan will be the face of SP in the opposition inclusive alliance India. He has been given a place in the coordination and strategic committee of the alliance along with senior leaders of the constituent parties. Javed Ali Khan did not attend the India meeting held in Mumbai. He said that I will fulfill the responsibility given by the leadership very well. At the same time, Alok Ranjan, who was the Chief Secretary in the Akhilesh government, has also been included in the Research Committee of India.
Maximum three leaders of all the constituent parties got the opportunity to participate in the two-day meeting of India in Mumbai. On behalf of SP, apart from National President Akhilesh Yadav, Chief General Secretary Prof. Ramgopal and Vice President Kiranmayananda participated. It was believed that the SP would send one of its senior most leaders to the coordination committee of India. However, it surprised everyone by including two-time Rajya Sabha member Javed Ali Khan in the committee.
This decision is also shocking because till now only Azam Khan was put forward as the Muslim face in SP. Now Javed Ali Khan of Sambhal, a nearby district of Rampur, has been given a big responsibility. Javed Ali Khan told Amar Ujala that he is not aware of the details of India’s meeting held in Mumbai. However, he did attend the second India meeting held in Bangalore. He will now work to advance India’s agenda as intended by his leadership.
Alok Ranjan got a place in the team
Please tell here that Javed Ali Khan had stepped into student politics from Jamia Millia. He was also the district president and state secretary of Moradabad unit of SP. From the year 2011, he is continuously a member of the National Executive of SP. At the same time, retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary of UP Alok Ranjan has been included in the 11-member research committee of India from the SP side. However, he has been active with SP for a long time. He is considered to have made an important contribution in preparing SP’s last election manifesto.
Sanjay Singh and Kiranmoy Nanda in the campaign committee
Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh and SP leader Kiranmoy Nanda have also been given a place in India’s 19-member campaign committee. Similarly, SP’s Ashish Yadav and Rajeev Nigam and Congress Working Committee’s special invitee Supriya Shrinet have been included in the social media team. All three are from UP. Ashish Yadav has been handling the election war room of SP. Rajeev Nigam is working on the cultural front. Whereas, Supriya Shrinet has contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket from Maharajganj. SP’s Ashish Yadav and Rajeev Nigam from UP have got a place in India’s media team.
