If reports are to be believed, between 80 lakh to one crore devotees come to Vaishno Devi temple every year for darshan. The money or other expensive items that came in the offering are taken care of by this trust only. Where to use the donated amount, from the salary of the priests to the expenditure of the prasad going to the devotees, all are done under the supervision of the trust.
Why is Vaishno Devi Temple famous?
This temple associated with Adishakti Roopa is famous not only in the country but also abroad. There is a belief among the devotees that the Goddess definitely listens to the cries of those who come here and removes their sorrows and pains.

Bhairon Nath recognized the goddess who came in the form of a girl and ran to catch her. Escaping from Bhairon Nath, the girl hid in a cave. This cave is still present in the Vaishno Devi temple
This cave is said to be thousands of years old. It is said that a person of every size (fat or thin) can easily go inside this small cave. It is considered a miracle of the Goddess
This temple has also been described in the Mahabharata period where Arjuna remembered Mata Vaishno Devi before the war and received her blessings.
It is also said that the 10th Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh also came here. A large number of Sikh pilgrims also come here every year.
